TAYO is an outdoor cultural event that celebrates diversity on June 15 & 16 at Mel Lastman Square in Toronto
TAYO (means “us” or “we” in Filipino) is an outdoor event featuring a collection of rich cultural activities that offer different levels of Filipino pride as we share them to the rest of Canadian community.
This event is organized by Kainan Na and KRE8.
Experience the Harana All About Ube High Tea, “Kamayan” (dine over an array of Filipino dishes laid in banana leaves using your bare hands), Buffet at the Park (Pampanga’s best cuisine served in buffet style), culinary showcase with Mama Sita (use concoctions of a beloved Filipino food brand to create a gastronomic Canadian experience), “Panaderia” (outdoor bakery), Heritage Marketplace (Filipino food to merch to gift items), Filipino games, lots of music and entertainment.
High tea experience via an outdoor café ambience, with a violinist, pianist, or saxophonist providing beautiful music.

Literally a hand-to-mouth experience, dine over an array of Filipino dishes laid in
banana leaves using your bare hands and enjoy the camaraderie whether through an intimate date for two or with an entire squad. There is even a DIY portion to the
experience. Performers will add to the lively experience.

Experience Pampanga’s best cuisine served in buffet style. Tummy Fillers will feature Kapampangan excellence in culinary scene with a spread of mouthwatering dishes where every bite brings nostalgia of a fiesta-like feast. Plus enjoy great music from our local musicians while you dine.
